We are constantly bombarded by news on our environment, "global warming", climate change & so on. Being green seems to be the in thing to do right now. However keeping our environment clean as well as keeping our clients & technicians safe is a top priority for us. We have been researching green technologies for the auto detailing industry for some time now & have already implemented several steps including the use of microfiber cloths which increases the effectiveness of a smaller amount of chemicals & using a pressurized washing system allowing us to use as little as five gallons of water to detail a vehicle instead of over 100 gallons that the average person uses to wash their own car & we have also been using biodegradable soaps & cleaners now for several years. We are also using other green alternatives when possible such as waterless car wash technologies to save even more water. In addition we are using our paint cleaning clay instead of harsh cleaning compounds to restore automotive paint to a smooth & shiny surface & we have the ability to reclaim our water in areas that have storm drains leading to rivers & lakes.

                

As a husband, father & the Founder of Elite Detailing Service Inc. I've made it a personal mission to begin upgrading our supplies to an even greener alternative. We have committed to switch our paper to recycled, non-bleached office paper, as well as cleaning brushes made from 100% recycled materials.  We will be phasing out the vast majority of our petroleum based "traditional" cleaning products & introducing new green detailing & car washing supplies. These supplies contain plant based surfactants, cleaning agents & protective coatings & are 100% biodegradable, phosphate free & contains no VOCs or harsh toxic chemicals. We have been testing four separate lines of products & have been getting just as good & in some cases even better results than the harsher chemicals that used to be the "norm". Our goal is to switch over all of our main line products by the spring of 2010. But we can't do it ourselves... we need your help & support. The price of these more natural products are generally higher than the petroleum products & may be reflected in the pricing of our services being slightly higher. We hope that you help by supporting our company as we become greener.
